Our roots trace back to founder Jerry Jeffries, who often proudly called himself an “Original Ice Road Trucker” from his demanding work on the North Slope. It was there he met Gayle, a sharp dispatcher for the same company. Together, their shared drive led them to build several successful trucking companies of their own, hauling freight coast-to-coast. After a brief attempt at retirement, their entrepreneurial spirit sparked anew, launching Double JJ Enterprises in 1994.

Specializing in custom truck accessories, Double JJ quickly carved out a reputation for originality and superior American craftsmanship. Our now-iconic J-Lite brackets and Blinkerbars became sought-after signatures, must-haves recognized for their clean lines and standout design that helps truckers put their best look forward. This success stems from our core belief in quality materials and the skill of our dedicated team, who take immense pride in their workmanship. The “Double JJ” name itself embodies family – representing Jerry Jeffries and his daughter, Jody. Involved since childhood (starting with 2₵ per invoice!), Jody later helped build crucial dealer relationships in the company’s early stages. After time spent building her own sales and marketing career and raising her family, Jody has returned, alongside her husband Mark Canfield, to lead the daily operations and carry the torch forward. Our strength remains our people – a team valued for their skill, commitment, and shared pride.
